Krispy Kreme enters Singapore

American doughnut brand Krispy Kreme will add Singapore to its list of global markets, partnering with Star360 Group.

The group, which is wholly owned and managed by Andy Chaw, has agreed to open 15 Krispy Kreme stores in Singapore over the next five years.

Star360 Group operates 30 retail stores and distributes to more than 4000 points of sale in southeast Asia, representing more than 15 brands.

“Star360’s unique understanding of the Singapore consumer, coupled with their sound business experience across a variety of retail concepts, matches perfectly with the Krispy Kreme brand and experience,” said Jeff Welch, Krispy Kreme president, international.

“Singaporeans have long been doughnut-lovers, and we believe that with more than 75 years of history, Krispy Kreme is well positioned to find its way in the hearts of the consumer,” said Andy Chaw, CEO, Star360 Group.

Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Krispy Kreme offers glazed doughnuts and other sweet treats and coffee.
