Fast Retailing opens first multi-brand store

Uniqlo parent Fast Retailing has opened its first store that brings several of its brands under one roof.

The store located at The Printemps Ginza department store in Tokyo spans two floors. Called ‘Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza’, the store houses five brands: Uniqlo, Princesse tam.tam, Comptoir des Contonniers, PLST and g.u.

The multi-brand store is aimed at fashionable female professionals who want to benefit from the convenience of having several brands at a one-stop destination.

The store is staffed with ‘fashion sommelière’, who are fashion experts to provide customers a personalised shopping experience.

For Princesse tam.tam, the multi-brand store is its first store in Japan. The French brand offers lingerie, swimwear and homewear. The brand is targeted at women ages of 25 to 35.

Comptoir des Contonniers, also a French brand, offers fashion for women. The brand opened first store in Japan in 2006. The Uniqlo Marche Printemps Ginza is its 47th store in the country.

For PLST, the multi-brand store is its 48th in Japan and the 193th store for brand g.u.
