Xiniya opens two flagships

Chinese menswear brand Xiniya has expanded its retail footprint with two new flagship stores in the mainland.

The new flagship stores are located in Urumqi City in Xinjiang Province and Shenyang City in Liaoning Province.

The Urumqi City store is 320 sqm and complements 70 other stores in Xinjiang Province, while the one in Shenyang City is 300 sqm and complements 82 other stores in Liaoning Province.

With a population of approximately 2.7 million inhabitants, Urumqi City is a second-tier city with GDP growth of 17.1 per cent in 2011. The city’s retail sales of consumer goods grew 23 per cent last year.

Shenyang City has a population of approximately 8.1 million inhabitants with GDP growth of 12.3 per cent and a consumer goods retail sales rise of 17.5 per cent in 2011.

“The new stores are among our most impressive, featuring Xiniya’s complete line of menswear, shoes and accessories as well as a multi-level layout,” said Xiniya chairman and CEO Qiming Xu.

“With our new and improved store image and product displays, we are confident that Xiniya will be able to attract more authorised retailers and consumers. These stores fit directly into our expansion strategy and will aid in increasing our brand recognition over the long term,” said Xu.

Other flagship stores are located in cities Jinjiang, Quanzhou, Zun Yi, Harbin and Chengdu.
