Geox opens Hong Kong flagship

Geox, the Italian shoe brand, has opened a flagship store in Hong Kong’s Central district.

The store in Queen’s Rd is spread across 160 sqm and is the first flagship in the city which hosts 13 existing independent shops. It carries the full range of Geox lines including mens, womens and kids shoes.

Geox founder and president Mario Polegato said the flagship store is an important milestone of its expansion into Asia. The company says it will open 20 new stores in Hong Kong by next year.

The company has also recently teamed up with British shoe designer Patrick Cox to create a capsule footwear collection.

“My inspiration for future collections with Geox would be inspired by the modern men and women who are independent, secure with their femininity or masculinity, who knows what he or she wants – at home, at work and during leisure time,” said Cox.

Founded in 1995, Geox is available in 103 countries through more than 10,000 multi-brand stores and a network of 1250 single-brand stores.
