Figaro eyes Fiji

Filipino coffee chain Figaro continues expanding overseas, now setting its eyes on the South Pacific military dictatorship of Fiji.

The chain said it will establish its franchise network in the market next year.

“Fiji locals and expats will soon enjoy Figaro’s wide array of beverage and food products from specialty and traditional European coffee, ice blended concoctions, pastries, gourmet sandwiches, pasta, personal sized pizza and salad greens for the health buffs,” said franchise manager Mike Barret.

Figaro has overseas presence in China, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Papua New Guinea. It says the international expansions are part of its goal to have 100 stores by the end of the year.

“It is Figaro’s vision to share the passion and love of the Philippine coffee worldwide in its continued global expansion tapping also the Philippines’ locally produced coffee beans to better serve its customers,” Barret said.

Figaro also plans to open in Vietnam before the end of next year.
