Wolford continues Greater China expansion

The Austrian hosiery brand Wolford continues its expansion in Greater China by opening two new boutiques – one in Shanghai and one in Hong Kong.

The 610 sqft Shanghai boutique is located at Citic Square while the 460 sqft Hong Kong store is situated within International Finance Centre. Wolford says the Shanghai store is considered to be a flagship store for the Greater China.

“The Chinese market is of great strategic importance for Wolford. The management is confident that in future we will have great potential for growth in Greater China, therefore, the opening of these two new boutiques is especially gratifying,” says CEO Holger Dahmen.

Wolford will open another store in Shanghai next month which would take its store count in Greater China to 15.

“We intend to strengthen the positioning of the Wolford brand in China and expand our store network, with both partners as well as through its own boutiques,” said Dahmen.

Wolford stores carry the fashion label’s entire range of fashion leg-wear, ready-to-wear, lingerie, fashion accessories and swimwear.
