Mattress maker Kingsdown has tied up with local bedding company Massindo Group for development in Indonesia.

The partners plan to open five retail stores this year across the country, with the first two already opened in Jakarta.

“Indonesia is a key market for Kingsdown as we continue our growth in Asia,” said Kingsdown president and CEO Frank Hood.

“US products and brands are truly prized in Indonesia, and with the science behind MySide, we offer some great points-of-difference from our competitors, which we believe consumers will appreciate.”
