Japanese retailer Thanko has opened an overseas shopping website, ‘raremonoshop’.

‘raremonoshop’ specialises in digital goods and Thanko says the main concept of the site is to provide products that not only have a good design but are also unique and useful in function.

“Until now, we were operating within the domestic market due to distribution-related issues. But after working out the details of an overseas payment system based on PayPal and product delivery using EMS and international mail, we have now opened the new service for the global market,” it says.

In celebration of the opening, raremonoshop will offer 10 per cent off on all products for purchases worth US$50 or more.
