Cherokee expands to Indonesia

Cherokee has partnered with retailer PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP) to tap into the Indonesian market.

Indonesian customers can now purchase Cherokee products at its stores within Sogo and Seibu department stores.

Cherokee is an American clothing company whose portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands include Cherokee, Carole Little, Liz Lange and Sideout. Its products include a wide assortment of casual, everyday lifestyle apparel ranging from woven shorts, pants, and denim to sweatshirts, jackets, and dresses.

“Cherokee’s well-priced, style-focused lifestyle offerings fit perfectly with Sogo and Seibu’s target markets,” said Fannie Gozali, MAP/Sogo head of apparel merchandising division.

MAP plans more Cherokee store rollouts in the coming year as it looks forward to a successful partnership.

Cherokee is the latest addition to MAP’s more than 90 represented international brands ranging from fashion and lifestyle-focused product, to sports, food, and beverage.
