Givenchy opens new Shanghai store

French fashion brand Givenchy has opened its third store in Shanghai at IAPM Mall.

The new 205 sqm store is modelled after its Paris store, combining ‘aristocratic elegance, dark romanticism, sensuality and renewed classicism’.

It offers collections of ready-to-wear for men and women, as well as luxury bags and accessories.

Givenchy’s other stores in Shanghai are located at Reel Mall and Citic Square.

The LVMH-owned brand says it will triple the number of its China stores to 30 in two years as other luxury brands scale back from expanding amidst crackdown on luxury goods.

“Our more diversified product line, including leather goods, ready-to-wear for both men and women, helps us to weather the economic cycle,” explained Givenchy CEO Sebastian Suhl.
