Xiu eyes foreign tie-ups

Chinese online luxury and fashion retailer has launched an English-language microsite to attract foreign companies.

The microsite will provide information and partnership material to international brands who are interested to forge partnerships with Xiu.

Xiu, which has 3 million registered users, has already attracted foreign companies such as Ferragamo and eBay.

“We have a strong local operations team, and we are an online fashion marketplace carrying a lot of brands of different levels to serve customers better,” said Xiu’s VP of strategy Celine Yang.

“We localise global fashion and ensure everything we sell is matching Chinese consumer preferences.”

While known as a luxury retailer, Xiu also features fast fashion and premium products.
