Swedish fashion retailer H&M has opened its 3000th store in the Chinese city of Chengdu.
The 2500 sqm store demonstrates Chinese consumers’ increasing recognition of the brand and underlines its success in China, H&M GM for Greater China, Magnus Olsson, said.
The first 100 customers received a voucher with a value of 100 yuan during the opening day on Sunday.
From its first foray in 2007, H&M now has around 150 stores across China.
Meanwhile, H&M has confirmed that it will open its first two stores in Indonesia before the end of this year.
