British multi-brand footwear retailer Heel & Buckle plans to open more stores across India.

The company says it wants to take advantage of the growing Indian demand for luxury brands.

After its successful first opening in Mumbai in June, Heel & Buckle will open in New Delhi in December.

“We also plan to open our stores in Chennai, Bangalore, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Pune,” said CEO Dhiraj Bhatija, Heel & Buckle India.

Bhatija says the first three months of the Mumbai store has been profitable. It sells around 400 designs across brands including Italian brand Alessandro, British brand Rad Russel, Singaporean brand Pazzion and Spanish brand Paco Gil.

Heel & Buckle also plans to introduce its bespoke service in India, a service currently available in London and Geneva only, to cater to high-profiled customers.

“These are high net worth individuals who select a particular design, style, pattern and colour and materials and place an order with us. These are then designed and hand crafted in our studio workshops in London, Geneva and Spain,” Bhatija said.
