Rabeanco expands Malaysian presence

Accessories brand Rabeanco plans to grow its Malaysian presence with seven new stores to open by next year.

Owner Hong Kong-based company S&W Handbags, through its local distributor Shea Venture, plans to open four new stores in Kuala Lumpur and three in Penang.

The brand, which entered Malaysia two years ago, says the Penang openings will play an important role in the fashion accessories market for consumers in the northern region.

Rabeanco is also focusing its expansion in China, where it will open 10 new stores on top of its existing 24 stores.

Besides Malaysia and China, Rabeanco is also present in the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Europe and the US, where it expanded in May.

It says it is also eyeing new markets, including Indonesia and the Middle East.
