H&M expands to Philippines

Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is adding Philippines to its expanding international footprint.

It has signed contract for its first store opening in Manila, Philippines.

The flagship store is planned to open during 2014 in the shopping centre SM Megamall, Manila.

H&M was founded in Sweden in 1947 and operates brands H&M, Other Stories, Cheap Monday, Cos, Monki and Weekday as well as H&M Home.

The H&M Group has around 3000 stores in 53 markets including franchise markets.
