Johnny Rockets expands in Pakistan

American QSR chain Johnny Rockets, through its local partner Hamdan International, has opened its third restaurant in Pakistan.

The 809 sqft restaurant is located at Centaurus Mall in Islamabad. The Centaurus Mall Johnny Rockets offers guests an upbeat atmosphere of casual fun complete with twirled straws and lively music that have been synonymous with the brand since it launched in 1986.

Abdul Wahab, chairman of Hamdan International, first decided to bring Johnny Rockets to Pakistan after witnessing first-hand a strong demand for the restaurant’s all-American favourites including made-to-order burgers, crispy American fries, hand-spun shakes and classic sandwiches.

“In the few months since we opened our first Johnny Rockets in the country, we’ve already witnessed the brand’s mass appeal with guests lining up to embrace our uniquely authentic taste of Americana,” said Ahmad.

“The capital city of Islamabad is known for attracting visitors from all across the country, creating an urbanised, cosmopolitan culture. We’re confident that the spirited environment of Centaurus Mall brilliantly complements that of our brand.”

The opening is part of a strategic plan by Hamdan International to bring 10 Johnny Rockets restaurants to Pakistan within the next decade.
