Taiwanese technology brand Asus has opened its 100th India exclusive store in Coimbatore.

That store count is expected to increase to 200 by the end of the year as it vies for a 10 per cent share of the PC market.

Asus started opening exclusive stores in India in 2011.

The company will face competition from US giant Apple which plans to open between 400 and 600 sqft stores in neighbourhood and high street locations in second-tier cities.
