The world’s second largest convenience chain FamilyMart and restaurant company Fujio have partnered to ramp up their network.

The two companies plan to open 500 convenience stores, with restaurant facilities, across Tokyo and Osaka Prefectures over five years.

The first of the stores will open in Tokyo this summer.

FamilyMart has over 10,000 stores nationwide and an international network in Southeast Asia and beyond.
