Apple’s newest Japan store

Tech giant Apple has opened a new store in Japan in Tokyo’s prestigious Omotesando.

Apple’s new retail chief Angela Ahrendts has spearheaded the opening of the store which features environmentally-friendly elements such as the “green curtain” of foliage draping a wall, creating a cooling effect inside the store especially during peak hours.

The store’s design was first seen in Stanford, California. It is Apple’s third in Tokyo and ninth in Japan.

Apple is also about to open a store in Chongqing as part of its effort to triple its presence in China.
