German luggage maker Rimowa has further expanded its Chinese presence.

It has opened its 55th store in Beijing at Huamao Shopping St.

The 660 sqm store spread over three floors offers the company’s light, high-tech polycarbonate suitcases, with the first floor displaying the latest designs and the second floor dedicated to offer tailored services for VIP customers.

“The grand opening marked an important milestone in the company’s success in the Chinese market,” said Dieter Morszeck, Rimowa’s CEO and president.

Rimowa also sells products through Tmall marketplace.
