US fashion brand Coach is to enter India with exclusive retail stores.

The company has reportedly chosen Genesis Luxury as its partner, based in Gurgaon. However at the time of writing no official statement had been made by either company.

Genesis is reportedly acquiring stock with a view to opening the first standalone Coach store in Mumbai or Delhi.

Coach, founded in 1941, is based in New York, although its shares are also traded on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

Besides its own stand alone stores, Coach sells its womens fashion and accessories through department stores, airport concessions and online in 35 international markets.
