Hublot partners with HK fashion icon

Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot has called on renowned Hong Kong fashion design Dorian Ho to design uniforms for staff of its Greater China store network.
Hublot has long held the brand philosophy “Art of Fusion” with the freedom of exploring and creating with no boundaries. Now it has called on Ho to expand its love of creating “unconventional and unique art pieces” into its staff uniforms.
The new uniform was unveiled at a fashion show organised to showcase Ho’s Homme Fall/Winter collection for 2015-16.
Staff of the Hublot boutiques in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mainland China will all be dressed in the new threads.
Loic Biver, GM for Hublot Greater China said Hublot has taken its first ever step into the fashion industry “and I am glad to collaborate with Dorian Ho who is no doubt a top fashion designer in Hong Kong”.
“Dorian’s strong passion in fashion can definitely inject a new force in Hublot to further present the brand philosophy of the “Art of Fusion” and I am looking forward to seeing more sparkles with Dorian in the near future”.
Hublot’s uniform concept of “Art of Fusion” uses different materials together with the brand’s H logo to create sophisticated outfits. On the male outfit, the H logo is implicitly revealed in contrast fabric on the lapels across the chest, adding an H logo embroidery on the placket front of the male shirt; while the female outfit adds a little romance and femininity to the work chic with the ruffle hem blazer and fitted silhouette, pulling together a stylish and fashionable ensemble in no doubt.
Said Ho of his creation: “Everyone knows I love watches and I have been following Hublot attracted by its uniqueness of the brand antics, watches and characters. I am pleased to collaborate with Hublot on the uniform design which has given me a great chance to stretch some designing borders that I have never tried”.
