China Food opens high end Macau eatery

Listed Hong Kong restaurateur Chinese Food and Beverage Group says it is negotiating with partners on “several” f&b investment opportunities.
Tonight, CFB celebrates the opening of its newest venture FLM Macau, a high end Chinese restaurant located in the Galaxy Macau resort on the Cotai Strip.
The opening comes 10 months after CFB formed a joint venture with Fook Lam Moon Macau Holdings to develop the eatery.
Founded in 1948, the Michelin-starred Fook Lam Moon uses premium ingredients and sophisticated cooking techniques to create gourmet traditional Cantonese cuisine. It has been listed in the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” for three consecutive years and it is currently the highest ranking Chinese restaurant on the list.
“FLM Macau Restaurant will continue to uphold the brand’s long-cherished philosophy of remaining true to traditions and quality so as to retain the culture of the finest cantonese cuisine,” CFM executive director Yu Sau Lai said.
No details of the new ventures have been revealed as yet.
“The board is under negotiation with potential food and beverage investment opportunities including but not limited to acquisition in food and beverage businesses in Hong Kong and the PRC and will make further announcement(s) to update shareholders of the company as and when appropriate,” he said.
