Department store Tangs is returning to VivoCity with its annual Mid Autumn Fair, creating a bazaar featuring more than 40 styles of Mooncakes.

On sale at the Tangs mooncake bazaar will be treats from local and regional bakeries, trusted and new brands, traditional and innovative recipes to baked and snowskin varieties.

Those looking to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival in the traditional way – with mooncakes – will discover five brands making their debut at this fair: Baker’s Well, Cherry Garden, Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant, Peach Garden and Yu Xiang Yan.

Flavours include Pecan Maple Praline Mooncake from Cherry Garden, or premium bird’s nest infused mooncakes from Yu Xiang Yan.

In support of local start ups, independent urban grocer Crateful will showcase local gourmet delights at the Tangs Mid-Autumn Fair. The Singaporean food artisans will present a marriage of  modern food styles and cultural heritage. At their stall, in the bazaar shoppers will find mooncake tea-pairing and sample mooncakes made with trendy ingredients such as speculoos and cacao.

The Tangs Mid Autumn Bazaar runs until September 27.
