With new restaurants and lifestyle brand outlets, Hong Kong’s California Tower has celebrated in style its latest revamp.
A landmark in Lan Kwai Fong for nearly 30 years, the tower attracted celebrities and socialites for its grand relaunch, themed in purple and with “Dance to the Beat of Your Own Drum” as its message.
“The return of California Tower pumps in a lot of new energy and will bring Lan Kwai Fong to a new whole level,” Lan Kwai Fong Group chairman Dr Allan Zeman told guests. “The premium dining, entertainment and lifestyle concepts in the new building will provide endless entertainment.”
POst-revamp California Tower is home to seven restaurants, three nightclubs, a two-story gym and a nail salon.
Featuring at the opening celebrations was Cantopop singer and actress Kelly Chen. Other performers included beatbox artists Don and RX Wong Ho-pon, Di2Da x Dancers, opera singer Becky Lee, the IAM Dancers and magician Louis Yan, who conjured up “magical appearances” of Dr Zeman and Kelly Chen.
The restaurants are Ciao Chow, Jin Juu, Fovea, Ore-no Kappou, Townhouse and Ce La Vi.
