Samantha Thavasa opens in Harbour City

Japanese fashion label Samantha Thavasa is fast building its reputation amongst Hong Kong fashionistas, boosted even further by the recent opening of a boutique in Harbour City’s Gateway Arcade.
Samantha Thavasa has gathered many Hollywood fans since its inception in 1994, including brand ambassador Miranda Kerr as well as Beyonce and Paris Hilton, reports Butterboom.
In Hong Kong the fashion label now has three concessions in Sogo department stores, one at Times Square Causeway Bay and another at Shibuya 109, under various sub-brands.

Offering affordable price points for the primary brand Samantha Thavasa, the new store carries its signature handbags, purses and accessories such as key chains.
With more than 130 retail stores in Japan, the company was founded in 1994 by Kazumasa Terada, who is its current CEO and president.
As well as Japan, the brand has stores in Mainland China, Korea, SIngapore, Taiwan and the US, where it launched in New York City in 2006.
In its home country, it even has an original confectionery line, some created in co-operation with famous pastry chefs. The sweet stores can be found at airports and sightseeing spots.
