Singapore multi-label boutique Naiise, which stocks lifestyle knick-knacks, accessories, apparel and furniture from more than 850 local and international brands, has opened a new flagship store.
Covering 8500 sqft (790 sqm) at The Cathay, it is the brand’s largest outlet yet, dwarfing its second-floor store at Clarke Quay Central.
Featured in the new store are furniture and home-decor products from Ethnicraft (Singapore), Fritz Hansen (Denmark), Sketch Interior (Denmark), Snap Design (Singapore) and Tinge x Desinere (Singapore).
It also has space for exhibitions and pop-ups showcasing merchandise from Tiger Brewery, pin maker Pindemic, Malaysian apparel by Pestle and Mortar, design books distributed by Tan Yang International, an origami exhibition by NinetyNineStates and even a calligraphy wall installation by Actseed.
There will also be a focus on craft classes and workshops with the new Studio Life concept, able to accommodate 30 participants. Upcoming workshops include book binding, handmade skincare for men, copper and concrete lamp casting, and Japanese incense making.
There is even a DIY corner for shoppers to personalise their purchases.
Originally an online retailer, Naiise describes itself as “a curated online destination for original, well-designed products and daily design inspiration” which has expanded offline into physical stores.
Based in Singapore, it ships internationally, and is one of the fastest-growing design retailers locally.
