Chinese mobile-phone retail chain D.Phone and smart-mobile peripherals company Pisen Electronicshave signed a strategic deal in Beijing.

They will co-operate in such areas as channel and product resources, full-channel marketing and user services. Financial terms of the deal have not been released.

For the first step, D.Phone and Pisen will establish a joint network of more than 12,000 physical stores. The first batch of 3000 stores will be upgraded over the first three months.

Before this, D.Phone launched a channel expansion and ecosphere construction project in which it aims to co-operate with mobile phone makers, carriers, eCommerce platforms, offline retailing terminals and professional service support systems to integrate products, content and services.

Pisen made a strategic investment in 3C1000.com, which is a 3C smart-device O2O eCommerce platform, nine months ago. This has more than 9000 stores in more than 2500 cities and towns in China.

Pisen’s co-operation with D.Phone will bring 3C1000.com more mobile phone product, carrier resources and mature store management and marketing experience. In return, D.Phone will rapidly complete its coverage of the rural market in China.
