Inamall allows Indonesians to sell to China

Indonesian retailers can now tap the huge Chinese market following the launch of Inamall, a platform on Tmall Global, a subsidiary of eCommerce giant Alibaba Group.

It has been launched by Indonesian Trade Minister Thomas Lembong and Alibaba Group VP Brian Wong.

“This will be an effective way to market Indonesian products,” says Lembong, whose ministry is looking into partnerships with other eCommerce giants.

The new platform lets Indonesian producers sell their products directly to Chinese consumers without going through importers or distributors.
