Kate Somerville heads to Hong Kong, Macau

Malaysia’s Esthetics International Group has secured the rights to take the Kate Somerville brand of cosmetics into Hong Kong and Macau.
And the company has also won first right of refusal to expand the brand’s footprint in the entire ASEAN market.
The Kate Somerville skincare range is part of Unilever’s Prestige division.
The Esthetics subsidiary EIG Dermal Wellness has signed a five year distribution agreement which expires on July 31, 2021, whereupon it automatically renews for a further five years.
“The agreement will enable Esthetics to further leverage and expand its distribution of premium skin care products through departmental stores and select retail stores in Hong Kong and Macau,” the company said in a statement.
Twelve year old Kate Somerville LLC specialises in premium dermocosmetic skincare products, with an estimated 900 retail stockists in the US.
Kuala Lumpur-listed Esthetics International owns and operates 74 retail stores comprising 59 AsterSpring skin care salons and 15 retail kiosks strategically located in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.
