Stadium Goods stepping into China

Sneaker resale service Stadium Goods is stepping into the Chinese marketplace in an exclusive partnership with Tmall Global, an extension of Alibaba Group’s B2C Tmall.com business.
For Stadium Goods sellers, the partnership means they will be able to display their sneakers on the eCommerce website, the flagship Soho retail store in New York City and Tmall Global’s marketplace.
Co-founders John McPheters and Jed Stiller drew on their eCommerce, venture capital and hospitality backgrounds to unveil StadiumGoods.com last year, as well as an onground shop in Manhattan. To date, Stadium Goods is home to more than 15,000 pairs of collectible sneakers.
