American label Marc Jacobs Singapore has opened a boutique at The Paragon, with distributor FJ Benjamin revealing plans for four more stores in Singapore over the next two years.

All outlets will carry full collections of women’s ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, bags and accessories.

For the latest collection, designer Marc Jacobs collaborated with drag performer and artist Tabboo! from New York (real name Stephen Tashjian). At the line’s introduction in New York, Lady Gaga made a special appearance.

“Expect hand-painted motifs featuring animals such as rats and crows on items such as bags, clothing and shoes, as well as clothes with playful proportions: voluminous full skirts, extra-long sleeves and oversized coats in a sombre colour palette of midnight blue, dark green and black and grey,” says AsiaOne Women.
