Central Wealth Financial Group plans to diversify its business portfolio by developing an eCommerce platform.
The main activities of the group include trading, investment, financing services and property investment in Hong Kong. In its annual report at the end of last year it said its board had been exploring other business opportunities to diversify its portfolio.
Now the board says it aspires with the development of the eCommerce platform to provide small and medium-sized businesses and online consumers an efficient and easy trading platform.
It will include a search engine and other special features to offer sellers, service providers and online customers a “great level” of customisation, product search optimisation, and speedy and safe payment.
Chairman Siu Yun Fat says the platform is expected to launch in the next quarter and further details will be revealed later.
