MasterCard Hong Kong has launched its first one-stop business-to-business mobile app, connecting buyers and suppliers of small businesses.
A range of business advantages is offered by the MasterCard Commercial Network App, including the ability to extend payment terms using MasterCard commercial cards, exclusive discounts, free advertising and directory of a merchants and products. It also offers insights, controls and processes.
A “Pay Now” feature enables merchants to collect payments in full within about two days, plus MasterCard Secure Code boosts identity protection and transaction security.
“Small and medium-sized businesses are the lifeblood of a thriving economy,” says MasterCard division president for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Hiang Choong. “To maximise the success of these enterprises, we will continue to innovate and develop solutions that address evolving business needs.”
Industry sectors in the MasterCard Commercial Network include retailing, catering, import and export and FMCG. To date, more than 100 merchants have registered and listed their companies. The app is free and supports both iOS and Android. There is no service charge for using the app.
