Harbour City marks 50th anniversary

To mark its 50th anniversary, Asia’s first shopping mall Harbour City – the largest mall in Hong Kong – has set up an outdoor Christmas lighting display.
It has also launched an online campaign with the theme of “Christmas Together” as well as the “Christmas Party of Snowie” at the mall, launched at its Christmas lighting ceremony. Continuing until January 2, this promotion features “Snowie”, a combination of two “snowballs” with 32 different designs in colours and patterns, at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City.

There are also more than 150 Snowies of different sizes and designs, each containing a hidden code.
Different-sized Snowies make up a 12m-tall Christmas tree in the centre of the forecourt, as well as a Christmas light tree and a carousel.

An online “crowdfunding” event has been organised to gather Harbour City Christmas photos from past years to make up a half-century photo album. Some of the photos will go into a limited-edition Harbour City Christmas album to raise funds for the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
