Italian menswear label Lardini has landed in China, opening its first monobrand store in Xi’an.
This follows its launch into Asia with a store opening in Seoul in April, followed by another in Busan, in partnership with Shinsegae International.
The 140 sqm Xi’an store is in the new Zhongda International shopping mall and features the label’s complete menswear range, showcased within burnished-metal and fluted-glass display cabinets. There is also a distinctive herringbone-patterned parquet floor.
Lardini was founded in Filottrano, central Italy, in 1978. It makes more than 60 per cent of its revenue from exports.
The label has just signed a licence agreement for the production and worldwide distribution of Trussardi’s new formal menswear line Trussardi Elegance.
