Featuring a dome-shaped semi-transparent structure, a Les Parfums Louis Vuitton pop-up has opened in Times Square.
It offers the complete collection of seven fragrances devised by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, who spent several months travelling the five continents in search of “unexpected emotions”.
During the creation process, he drew on more than 100 ingredients stored in a standing trunk in his office. The include iris, magnolia, patchouli and the ultra-precious agarwood.
For the first time, Cavallier-Belletrud’s trunk has left his office – it is being featured at the Hong Kong pop-up so visitors can experience up close the ingredients that go into his olfactory creations.
Combining the fragrance of exotic and rare materials, his creations aim to inspire the senses.
The Les Parfums Louis Vuitton pop-up is open until December 18.
