Daphne International sales down 11 per cent

Same-store sales dropped 11.3 per cent for footwear group Daphne International Holdings in its first quarter this year.

It ended the period with 124 fewer points of sale compared with the same period last year. Of these, 88 are directly managed stores while the balance are franchises.

This was revealed in the group’s unaudited data for the period covering its core brands – Daphne and Shoebox in Mainland China.

Established in 1987, Daphne International Holdings is mainly engaged in the manufacture, distribution and retailing of footwear products and accessories.
