BreadTalk Thailand plans expansion

An extra THB50 million (US$1.45 million) capital has been injected into BreadTalk Thailand, mainly for opening more stores.

From Singapore’s BreadTalk Group subsidiary BreadTalk (Thailand) Company, 49 per cent indirectly owned, and its partner The Minor Food Group Public Company, the money boosts the registered capital of BTM from THB203.3 million to THB253.3 million.

As well as for expansion, the money will also be used as working capital. The funding is through internal resources.

BTM has 17 outlets in Bangkok, while the brand has stores in 16 countries including more than 400 boutique bakeries, 40 food atriums and restaurants, with 6000 employees globally.
