Asics Korea has unveiled the Japanese footwear company’s second concept store for its contemporary lifestyle brand Asics Tiger, in Seoul’s Sinsa-dong area.
Its first standalone concept store is in Osaka, Japan.
On Garosugil Road, the Seoul store features marble shoe walls and shiny white centre tables, along with street elements like mortar walls and guard rails. A graphic wall gives a raw, urban element while a straight yellow accent line on the ceiling expresses innovation and freedom the company says.
Relaunched in 2015 as a platform for streetwear shoes inspired by the brand’s designs of the 1970s to 1990s, Asics Tiger is the lifestyle expression of the company’s performance brand. The shoes combine Japanese sports technology and global street style.
