Lazada Singapore moves in with SingPost

Shopping portal Lazada Singapore has moved its warehouse to the SingPost Regional eCommerce Logistics Hub in Tampines.

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has a shareholding in both companies, which aim to combine their strengths to serve a wider spectrum of customers in Singapore and the region.

Integrating both warehousing and delivery capabilities within one building, the hub will enable SingPost to provide Lazada faster turnaround time.

Lazada Singapore CEO Alexis Lanternier says the move was a “next natural step”, and its timing means the company will be adequately prepared for the upcoming Great Singapore Sale.

SingPost executive VP Sam Ang says the collaboration will result in scale and efficiencies for both companies.
