Heritage brands feature at second KI Cubus

Luxury kitchenware company Kitchen Infinity has opened its second KI Cubus showroom in Causeway Bay.

With a glass facade and full-height double doors, the new space features two heritage brands, Gaggenau and Poggenpohl.

Celebrating its 333rd anniversary this year, Gaggenau is known for its avant-garde ovens and specialised kitchen technology. It is also the 30th anniversary of its iconic EB 333 90cm-wide oven, which has been refashioned. It also offers the 400 series Combi-steam oven, the world’s first automatic self-cleaning oven which features vacuum drawers designed for precise sous vide cooking.

Founded in 1892, Poggenpohl is known for its Porsche-designed kitchen P’7350, which made its debut in 2014. Its kitchen cabinets, storage and surfaces are known for their clean lines and aesthetics, as well as durability. It latest series of customisable units are on display at KI Cubus.

As well as inviting chefs and mixologists to its grand opening, Kitchen Infinity is also hosting a monthly series of Culinary Artisan Master Classes for home chefs. Previous events were three-hour sessions led by two-Michelin-Star Chinese chefs Mok Kit Keung of Kowloon Shangri-La’s Shang Palace and Ip Chi Cheung of Island Shangri-La’s Summer Palace.

Master-class schedules will be announced on the Gaggenau Hong Kong Facebook page.

Founded in 1986, Kitchen Infinity is the brainchild of CEO/entrepreneur Sandra Wong.
