A second Ginza flagship store has been opened by Japanese fashion brand Issey Miyake.

This follows the opening of its first flagship in the upmarket Tokyo district, Issey Miyake Ginza/Ura, just three months ago.

The new Issey Miyake Ginza/Omote covers 570sqm on two levels. As well as men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, it offers limited-edition products created ad hoc for the two Tokyo boutiques.

Designer Taku Satoh has aimed for an elegant but minimal atmosphere for the new store, in line with the aesthetic codes of the brand. The walls, floors and furnishing accessories are all white which contrasts with the metal stands and the colours of the clothing.
