For the opening in Singapore of its first Southeast Asian flagship store, US diffusion apparel brand Hardy Hardy attracted a crowd of celebrities, including its ambassadors, actress/singer/model Fann Wong and TV host Lee Teng.
Others attending the opening event at Ion Orchard included Alfred Sim, Andee Chua, Derrick Hoh, Desmond Ng, Hayley Woo, Ian Fang, Kelly Poon, Kunhua, Kym Ng, Mae Tan, Nick Teo, Somaline Ang, Tay Kewei, Xavier Ong and Yuan Shuai.
DJ Lin Peifen was MC for the cocktail reception, where guests were able to preview a 4m by 2m graffiti canvas created for the store by contemporary artist Jahan Loh and featuring the brand’s signature skull-and-roses motif. In the store itself, DJ Dowager presided over an in-store party at which guests mingled with the brand’s models.
The 1200sqft (111sqm) space features marble flooring, rose-gold clothes hangers, black metal railings and industrial-style walls.
To mark the opening, Hardy Hardy has launched a limited-edition tee-shirt exclusive to the Ion Orchard store, embellished with a Swarovski crystal skull.
