Modement makes debut at PMQ

Hong Kong fashion designer Aries Sin features her entire collection in her brand Modement’s first boutique at PMQ.

As a design student at the Hong Kong Design Institute, Aries was attracted to the idea of a gender-neutral brand. Despite this, she created a tailored eveningwear line when she graduated in 2008, reports Blouin Artinfo. Over the ensuing few years she specialised in outfitting celebrities and tai-tais while experimenting with capsule collections.

Three years later she reverted to her original vision when entering the Hong Kong Young Designer Contest. After her spring/summer 2014 catwalk debut, Sin began forming a solid identity for Modement, keeping silhouettes uncomplicated and putting a focus on fabrics, many of which she designs and develops exclusively.
