Australian cosmetics company Abundant hits China, online

Australian nutraceuticals and cosmetics company Abundant is to expand its business in China through e-commerce.

Within three months, the firm will list its entire range of products on two shopping portals owned by Hong Kong-based marketing and management firm Fohun International – Xiaohongshu and NetEase Kaola.

Xiaohongshu is based in Shanghai selling imported luxury, fashion and beauty products to young Chinese women, while Kaola is the largest cross-border e-commerce platform in China.

Fohun will be responsible for operating an online flagship store for the health products brand to serve the websites. It will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and staffing the store through to 2020.

The products will be targeting mainland Chinese consumers.
