Bak kwa sweet meat retailer Bee Cheng Hiang has launched a grillery restaurant venue in Singapore.
The brand, popular in several Asian countries, is now operating a 2000sqft dine-in bistro featuring barbecue and floss-making stations as well as packaged bak kwa. The brand says it fulfills a long-standing effort to raise the standard of its cuisine.
Store development reportedly took more than three years, including the development of a sophisticated menu that heavily features bak kwa meats.
The restaurant also pairs wines with its dishes and features a walk-in wine cellar.
