Luxestyle to showcase 600 timepieces at Face of Time

Second-hand luxury watch store Luxestyle will showcase around 600 timepieces at Singapore’s first preloved timepiece festival, Faces of Time.

The brand, operated by local pawnbroking chain Maxi-Cash, is convening the festival to present a curated collection of watches with an estimated total value of more than SGD5 million.

Many of the pieces will be available for sale or auction at the three-day timepiece festival from September 28 to 30 at the Suntec Convention Centre. Luxestyle’s watch technicians will be on hand to take apart the timepieces for visitors to view the intricate parts inside.

Maxi-Cash CEO Ng Leok Cheng said hosting the first pre-loved timepiece showcase here in Singapore was a response to strong demand and increasing interest in luxury timepieces in the city.

“To ensure customers maximise the value of their luxury buys, we often encounter questions about make, brands and models of watches. Hence, we thought such a platform would allow watch collectors to share their expertise and knowledge with others here.”

Limited edition, rare and vintage pieces including discontinued items will be on show for watch lovers to examine or bid to own.

The festival is free to attend and discounts of up to 30 per cent off timepieces can be expected, as well as up to 57 per cent off luxury bags and branded jewellery.
