Shake Shack Hong Kong plans second store

Shake Shack Hong Kong is set to open its second location.

The US burger chain opened its flagship store at IFC mall last May and construction is expected to start next week on a second outlet at Pacific Place.

Planned promotions for the new Shake Shack Hong Kong store aim to make the site a local gathering space before the restaurant opens for business via an interactive art installation “#Happy2Gather”, where guests can digitally create and personalise their own “Shackvatar” either by visiting Pacific Place from October 1 or online at happy2gather.shakeshack.com.hk. Visitors sharing their Shackvatar or photo at the installation will get the chance to win tickets to the VIP opening party.

Described as an Angus beef “roadside” style burger chain, Shake Shack operates 180 locations in the US and more than 70 international locations.
