Singapore SME e-commerce platform launches

Singtel, DBS Bank and Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) have launched a new e-commerce platform for SMEs.

Called 99%SME, the platform helps small and medium-sized enterprises to adopt digital technologies and deliver an omnichannel experience to customers.

Retailers can offer last-mile delivery options for online customers by allowing them to collect goods from stores. A search function will help consumers to find nearby and relevant SME stores and products as well as recommendations and similar products.

SMEs can get business insights and reports to track and understand sales performance across various product categories.

Merchants can list products or services on the platform for no charge, and sell products to enterprises via DBS’ B2B e-marketplace.

Free access to a library of copyright-free common product images and details is also available.
